Christiana Community Center- In Color

Sometimes a building is more than a building, it's a memory. Revisiting this photo in color, brings light to the history behind this home turned into a community center, which is now a piece of history.

Summer Conclusion.

A yellow flower often represents compassion, trust, and respect. It also is a great indicator of the summer season. This beautiful flower shows much love and is flourishing bright as the summer begins to conclude.

We Walk to a Rhythm

 Originally founded in 1694 and later gaining it's official status in 1758 from Great Britain, Newark is the home to over 31,000 individuals. Including these three fellow's who enjoy bringing music to passers by in exchange for donations. The trio makes great rhythm for the University of Delaware students flowing in the streets. It's charm is rather quaint, and I look forward to photographing more of it's eccentric downtown streets.

Flying High

Clouds bring us rain, and hail but they also bring us fluffy figures floating about above us. They're so beautiful and inspirational, it's hard not to look at them.. It's fun to simply look up and be inspired to take a moment to view what's above us, and imagine what is beyond or what it would be like to fly like a bird through them. 

Christiana Community Center

Christiana is a tiny town hidden in Newark, Delaware that dates back to the 1750's. The town has so many old features to it, and this building was, at one time, the Community Center. I have passed it nearly every weekend for months; always wondering about the story behind this little building and town. It deserves to be preserved, at least in photo.

A Shared Passion

This photo captures the true love of books between a father and daughter. He has passed along his passion for reading and exploring the unknown through the written word on to his daughter. It is clear that they are both lost in their books here, as a tradition continues.
